A Fort Mill, South Carolina resident has been accused by police of allegedly forcing his 10-year-old son to smoke marijuana.  The child’s mother was informed by the child that the his father forced him to smoke the substance when he was on a visit him.  The mother of the child’s father (grandmother) is supposed to supervise the visits; however, it is unknown at this time whether she was present.

The child’s mother phoned the York County deputies when her son informed her about the incident stating that he had seen his father smoke marijuana before; however, this is the first time he was forced to smoke it himself.  The mother has had the son tested for drugs, and has stated that she is going to contact the police with the results.  Police have held off on charges, pending positive results of the drug tests.  The man could face child endangerment charges, among others in this case.
