There’s some of out here that will simply never enjoy the taste of beer. But even though we don’t like the taste, we’ll force ourselves to drink it because it’s cheap and accessible. So if that’s you and you’re still trying to find that beer you like, try some of these beer cocktails.

Beer Cocktails: Ways to Enjoy Beer

Beer Sangria

If you like sangria but want to drink beer, you will probably find this to be the best of the beer cocktails. It’s sweet but not too sweet and more importantly, it’s easy to make. For the beer portion, you’ll need several 12 ounce cans of Lager. Then you can combine one cup of triple sec and one and a half cups of lemon juice. In addition, you can add some fresh fruit for that classic sangria taste.

Citrus Beer Cocktail

If you like orange juice, this may just be your favorite of all beer cocktails. Start with just a few ounces of fresh orange juice. Then add a citrus flavored beer, like a nice Blue Moon or a Bud Light Orange. In some cases, drinkers may add half a shot of gin for an extra kick. But beware that this can be somewhat risky. Just a half of shot can raise the alcohol content in your drink so that you may only want to have one of these beer cocktails. And you certainly will not want to driving after doing so as it can increase your BAC.

Coffee Beer Cocktail

Only true coffee lovers will find this the best choice out of these beer cocktails. For this drink, you can start with several ounces of freshly brewed coffee. Depending on whether or not you want this to be an iced coffee, you may want to refrigerate your brew. Next, you can add several ounces of a stout, such as Guinness. You want this to be just slightly less than the amount of coffee in your drink. Also, if you’re going for an iced coffee, make sure to chill your beer. Then add about an ounce of simple syrup and heavy whipping cream each. Depending on what flavor you’re going for, you can add in your favorite coffee syrup.

These beer cocktails can become a fun and different way to drink beer. If you can’t tolerate the taste of beer, beer cocktails may be the way to go.
