The people who owned a home in Lenoir County did not expect to find their home damaged last Thursday, during which seemed to be an uneventful day at first. A teenager crashed his vehicle into their home and caused $3000 worth of damage. The homeowners were not home at the time the accident happened.
The teenager who caused this accident has now been charged with DWI and reckless driving. Initially it appears the teen veered off the road to the right, hit a tree then crashed into the house. There was also another teenage passenger in the vehicle at the time. No one was hurt in the accident.
