A man, who was charged with involuntary manslaughter after a DWI accident, has had two witnesses testify against him at this point.  A Tractor-Trailer Attorneysparamedic, as well as the defendant’s brother has testified on behalf of the State.  The paramedic was the first to testify, and he stated that, while he was talking to the defendant’s fiancé, she repeatedly said that the defendant was driving the vehicle when it was involved in the collision.

Thereafter, the brother took the stand, testifying that the defendant had been drinking since around noon that day, and further testified that the defendant visited a bar with friends later.  Therefore, the drinking took place for around six or seven hours, and according to the brother, all of the passengers in the car told the defendant to slow down before the crash.  After these witnesses, the State is expected to call a state trooper, who responded to the scene of the accident.
