An alleged drunken driver killed two men in Raleigh, North Carolina a few months ago as he was driving the wrong way down Wade Avenue. He hit the victims car head on. The driver and the passenger were transported to a Raleigh area hospital and were pronounced dead hours later.
The suspect was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries; and, once he is released from the hospital, he will be charged with DWI, driving the wrong way down a dual lane highway, and also with the deaths of the two victims. The blood alcohol concentration of the driver is unknown, and the man’s charges are pending the results of the test. These results may take some time to be released.
